Size of DXB
Dubai International Airport (DXB) is the 2nd largest airport in the world. This 7,200 acre airport, is the busiest airport in the world and it comprises of 3 terminals. Terminal 3 consists of 3 other concourses (A, B, and C Gates). Each terminal has a cylindrical shape to it, making this airport not only the busiest, but more unique.
The Interior
Now don't get me wrong, even though the outside is beautiful, the interior is just as much, if not more, magnificent. Now in the terminals, there is a uniform structure for all of them. They each consist of 2 floors. The bottom floor is more for everyone in general. The top floor is more for the airline lounges for people who have memberships with that specific airline. This floor is mainly a place to either wait for your flight board or enjoy your time in the airport during transit. Either way, the lounges are one of the best places to be in the airport, especially since it is so secluded and away from the crowd on the floor below.
Getting Around
If you do not have any memberships with any airlines, then you can always rest on the bed-shaped seats near the gates. It is nice to rest on after long flights. But if you are the hyper type of person and feel the need to walk around, then you can also walk all around the interior of each terminal. You can go from one terminal to the other by taking a shuttle. The shuttle passes by each terminal every 15 minutes, so that means that you do not have to wait too long for them to pass by. Overall, this airport has everything for you to be able to feel comfortable and relaxed as best as you can.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what you guys want to see next. Have a good day!
